A message in a group chat is a message you hope people saw. A Bario broadcast is one you know they saw. Managers and admins write an announcement (the fryer is down, tonight's special has changed, staff meeting after close) and send it to the whole team or to a chosen few. It appears full-screen on each recipient's device and stays there until they confirm it, and confirming is what marks it read. The sender sees a live count and a per-person list with the time each employee acknowledged it, and can withdraw a broadcast that is no longer relevant.

How is a broadcast different from a notification?
Notifications are addressed to a station and are passive: a new order for the kitchen, a plate ready for a waiter. A broadcast is addressed to named people and blocks their screen until each one confirms it, so it is for things that must be read, not things that must be noticed.
Do I know who has read it?
Yes. Every broadcast shows a live count, such as 3 of 8 read, and expands into a per-person list with the time each employee acknowledged it.
What if someone has the app closed?
Staff who are clocked in get a push notification with the announcement. The full-screen message is still waiting for them the next time they open the app, so nothing is missed either way.
Can I take a broadcast back?
Yes. Withdrawing a broadcast removes it from everyone who has not yet confirmed it, along with its receipts.
Who can send broadcasts?
Managers and admins. Everyone else receives them.
