Bario ships with seven roles (Waiter, Clerk, Driver, Bartender, Kitchen, Manager, and Admin), each with a permission set that matches the job. When those are not enough, build your own: pick from twelve permissions plus access to any display station you have created, and assign it to whoever needs it. Staff can be tied to specific zones, so the beach section's orders only get assigned to the people working the beach. On a shared tablet, several profiles can live side by side, each behind a 4-digit PIN, and switching between them takes a couple of seconds.

What roles does Bario support?
Waiter, Clerk, Driver, Bartender, Kitchen, Manager, and Admin. A Waiter can create, edit, and send orders; a Clerk can also take payment; a Driver gets the delivery queue and payment; Bartender and Kitchen see only their station; Manager and Admin see everything.
Can I create my own role?
Yes. Custom roles let you combine any of the twelve permissions (creating orders, taking payment, viewing reports, managing the menu, tables, employees or shifts, cancelling orders) plus access to specific display stations you have set up.
Can I restrict a waiter to one section of the venue?
Yes. Each zone can carry a list of the employees allowed to work it. When a table in that zone gets an order, only that zone's staff plus managers and admins can be assigned to it. Leave the list empty and the zone is open to everyone.
How many employees can I add?
As many as you like. Employees and tables are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Plans differ only on monthly order volume.
Can several waiters share one tablet?
Yes. A device can hold multiple staff profiles, each protected by a 4-digit PIN. Switching takes seconds, with no password typing and no logging out, and every order stays attributed to the person who took it.
