Most order systems were written for a dining room and ask a beach bar to pretend its loungers are tables. Bario does not. A sunbed and a bar stool are their own element types on the floor plan, arranged into named, colour-coded zones for the front row, the back row, the pool or the terrace. Each sunbed or whole zone can carry a minimum spend, with different amounts at different times of day, and a guest with no lounger at all can order under their name and be grouped into a walk-ins section instead of vanishing off the books. Guests scan the QR on the lounger and order without installing anything.

Beach Bar & Sunbeds common questions
Are sunbeds really different from tables, or just renamed?
They are their own type. The floor plan designer places tables, sunbeds and bar stools as distinct elements, so the layout on screen looks like the beach rather than a dining room with odd table names.
Can I set a minimum spend on the front row?
Yes. Minimum spend is set per sunbed or per whole zone, and it can differ by time of day, so a front-row lounger can carry one amount at midday and another late in the afternoon.
What about a guest who is standing at the bar with no sunbed?
Order under their name. Bario groups every open order for that name into a walk-ins section on the floor plan, which appears with the first order and disappears once everything under that name is paid.
Can guests order from the sunbed themselves?
Yes. Each sunbed can carry its own QR code that opens the menu in the phone browser and sends the order straight to the bar. There is no app for the guest to install.
Can the beach zone show a different menu from the restaurant?
Yes. Menus can be filtered per zone, so the beach sells drinks and snacks while the indoor restaurant keeps the full carte, from one menu you maintain once.
