How it works

Bario's floor plan editor lets you map your venue exactly as it looks in real life. Drag and drop table elements (round tables, long tables, bar seats, sunbeds, umbrella stations) and position them to match your actual layout. Staff always know where every table is, and managers get a real-time occupancy view. Guests who order without a table are grouped by name into a walk-ins section, so nothing gets served off the books.

FAQ

Visual Floor Plan common questions

Can I have multiple zones in one floor plan?

Yes. You can create multiple named sections within one floor plan: indoor dining, outdoor terrace, bar area, and beach zone all on the same visual canvas.

Does the floor plan update in real time for all staff?

Yes. When a table is seated, ordering, or cleared, the status updates live across all devices. Every staff member sees the same current state.

What about guests who do not sit at a table?

Order under a name instead of a table and Bario groups every open order for that name into a walk-ins section on the floor plan. It appears when the first order is created and disappears once everything under that name is paid.

Can a waiter hide the zones they are not working?

Yes. Each device can hide empty tables or entire zones from its own view. The filter is personal to that device and resets with the session, so a table nobody can see never stays hidden by accident.

Can I set a minimum spend per table?

Yes. Minimum spend can be set per table or per zone, with different amounts at different times of day, which is useful for front-row sunbeds and cabanas.

Can I use the floor plan on a large screen at the host stand?

Yes. Bario is browser-based and fully responsive. The floor plan view works on any screen size, from a smartphone to a large TV or tablet at reception.
