Bario lets you control which menu categories are visible depending on the zone a table belongs to. A beach zone can hide alcohol categories entirely. A pool bar can show only drinks and light snacks. Configure a simple toggle matrix (zones as columns, categories as rows) and the waiter ordering from a beach sunbed will never see a category that doesn't belong there. Individual categories and individual modifier options can also be switched off venue-wide when you run out of something.

Zone Menu Filtering common questions
How do I disable a category for a specific zone?
Go to Menu → Zone Filters. You'll see a grid with your zones as columns and menu categories as rows. Toggle off the cell to hide that category for that zone.
Does zone filtering affect all waiters or just some?
It applies to all waiters. When a waiter selects a table in a filtered zone, the hidden categories simply don't appear in the order screen for that table.
Can I take one item off the menu for the rest of the night?
Yes. Categories, items, and individual modifier options each have an availability toggle. A disabled option stays editable in the menu manager but disappears from the order screens, the displays, and the public QR menu until you switch it back on.
Can I have different drinks available at beach and pool zones?
Yes. You can enable different category sets per zone. Beach gets cocktails but no spirits; pool gets the full drinks menu. Configure it however your venue needs.
