Bario's order flow is designed for speed in a working venue. Waiters open the floor plan, tap the table, find items with instant search or category browse, add modifiers, and submit the order in under 10 seconds. The order reaches the kitchen and bar displays before the waiter has left the table. Dine-in, takeaway, and delivery all run through the same three-step flow, and every order carries its own number, guest count, and notes.

Order Management common questions
How fast can a waiter submit an order in Bario?
An experienced waiter can select a table, add items with modifiers, and submit an order in under 10 seconds. The interface is optimised for minimal taps.
Can I add notes or modifiers to individual order items?
Yes. You can configure modifiers for any menu item (milk alternatives, cooking instructions, allergen notes) and waiters select them during order entry. Free-text notes can be added per item and per order.
Can I force the waiter to make a choice on some items?
Yes. Each option group can be marked required, and set to one choice or multiple. A required group blocks the item from being added until it is answered, so a steak never reaches the grill without a doneness.
Can waiters take orders on their personal phones?
Yes. Bario is browser-based. Waiters open the URL on any smartphone, log in with their role credentials, and start taking orders. No app download required.
What happens after the kitchen marks an order ready?
It lands in the serve queue, where any waiter can see what is waiting and mark items served one by one. Once served, orders awaiting payment collect in the payment queue so nothing is forgotten at closing.
Does Bario support split bills?
Yes. Bario supports split payments on any order: split equally, split by item, or split by custom amount. Multiple payment methods can be combined per bill.
