Replace Paper Tickets with Live Split-Screen Displays
Orders land in the kitchen and at the bar the second they are sent, so nothing gets lost, misread or carried by hand.
Try It Free →How it works
When a waiter submits an order, Bario automatically routes food items to the kitchen display and drinks to the bar display. Kitchen and bar staff see every incoming ticket in real time, mark items as ready, and the waiter is notified instantly to collect. Open multiple stations side by side on a single screen: kitchen on the left, bar on the right, custom stations added live. Up to four panels in a 2×2 grid on one display. Every ticket is also queued for printing the moment the order is sent, so the paper copy arrives even when the waiter is on cellular data.

Kitchen & Bar Displays common questions
Can I show kitchen and bar on the same screen?
Yes. The multi-display mode lets you open any combination of stations side by side on one screen. Kitchen left, bar right at 50/50. Add a third custom station for 33% each. Up to four panels in a 2×2 grid.
Does Bario route food and drinks to separate displays automatically?
Yes. You configure which menu item categories go to which display. Food goes to the kitchen screen, drinks to the bar screen, automatically on every order.
What device do I use for the kitchen display?
Any device with a browser works: a cheap Android tablet, a laptop, or an old monitor attached to a mini PC. No specialist hardware needed.
Can the kitchen mark individual items as ready?
Yes. Kitchen staff can mark individual items or entire tickets as complete. Waiters get a full-width banner and a chime when their order is ready, plus a push notification if the app is closed.
Can the kitchen see the recipe for an item?
Yes. You can attach recipe or prep text to any menu item, and it opens in a modal straight from the ticket on the display. It is staff-only and never appears on the public menu.
Can I have multiple kitchen stations each seeing different items?
Yes. You can configure multiple display stations, each showing only the categories relevant to that station: grill, cold kitchen, pastry, and so on. Custom roles control who can open which station.
What happens to the ticket if the printer or the tablet is offline?
Nothing is lost. The print job is written to the database when the order is sent, not to whichever device happens to be listening, so it survives a sleeping printer, a tablet that dropped off WiFi, or a venue where no tablet is awake yet. Failed jobs retry on a backoff and move to another device if the first one cannot reach the printer.

Give the grill, the pizza oven or the beach bar its own screen, so every station sees only its own work.
Instant Notifications
Each order reaches the right station on its own, and the waiter is told the moment a plate is ready to run.
Kitchen Printing
Every ticket reaches the kitchen printer even if the wifi drops or a tablet dies, so no order is quietly lost.
