Flexible Payments common questions
Does Bario process card payments directly?
Bario tracks payment method (cash or card) and records amounts, but does not process card transactions itself. You use your existing card terminal alongside Bario.
Can I split a bill between multiple guests?
Yes. Bario supports split payments: split equally between guests, by item, or by custom amounts. Multiple payment methods can be combined on the same bill.
Can a guest pay for only some of what they ordered?
Yes. Partial payment works at the level of quantity, not the whole line. If a table ordered six beers and one guest pays for two, the order shows two paid and four due, on the order screen, in the orders list, and in the payment queue.
Are tips tracked?
Yes. A tip can be recorded with any payment and appears in its own report, so you can see tips per employee and per period.
Does Bario print receipts?
Yes. Bario supports receipt printing on compatible thermal printers. Printing requires the Bario mobile app (iOS or Android). It is not available from a browser.
