Bario's tab system lets staff open a named tab"Dimitris", "Table 12 beach", "Room 7"and link as many separate orders to it as needed throughout the day. All orders on the tab are visible in one place with a running total. When the guest is ready to pay, a single tap pays everything at once. Tabs live in a dedicated queue separate from the regular payment flow, so they never clutter the counter while they're still open. Only clerks, managers, and admins can create and manage tabs, keeping control where it belongs.

Running Tabs common questions
Who can open and manage tabs?
Only staff with the Clerk, Manager, or Admin role can create tabs and assign orders to them. Waiters see the tab badge on an order but cannot manage tabs.
Can I attach orders from different tables to the same tab?
Yes. A tab is independent of any single table. You can attach orders from Table A3, Table B7, and a takeaway order all to the same named tab.
Does a tab order still appear on the floor plan?
No. Once an order is assigned to a tab it is removed from the floor plan and the table order count, so the floor plan only shows orders that still need active service.
Can I remove an order from a tab?
Yes. From the Tabs page you can remove individual orders from a tab at any time. The order returns to the regular payment queue.
What happens if a guest pays part of their tab?
You can pay individual orders on the tab using the standard split or per-item payment flow, or pay the full tab total in one step.
