Bario gives your venue a public digital menu at its own bario.gr address, generated from the same menu your staff use, so you change a price once and the QR menu changes with it. Print a QR code per table and guests can browse on their phone, or go further and let them send the order themselves: it arrives on the kitchen and bar displays exactly like a waiter-entered order, marked as a customer order. Self-ordering is switched on per table or per zone, so you can offer it on sunbeds and keep table service inside.

QR Menu & Self-Ordering common questions
Do guests need to download anything?
No. The menu is a normal web page. Guests scan the QR code with the camera app, the menu opens in their browser, and there is no account to create.
Can guests order themselves, or only browse?
Both. Self-ordering is a setting you control per table and per zone. Leave it off and the QR code is a digital menu; switch it on and guests can send an order straight to the kitchen and bar.
How do I stop tiny orders from sunbeds?
Set a minimum spend on the table or the zone. The QR menu shows the minimum and will not let a guest submit an order below it, and the amount is re-checked on the server when the order is sent.
Do customer orders look different to staff?
They are flagged as customer orders so you always know where they came from, but otherwise they flow through exactly the same kitchen routing, serve queue, and payment queue as waiter-entered orders.
Does the QR menu show items I have disabled?
No. Categories, items, and modifier options that you have switched off are hidden from the public menu immediately, so a guest can never order something you ran out of an hour ago.
Do I get my own web address?
On the Pro and Enterprise plans your menu gets its own subdomain, yourvenue.bario.gr. Starter venues get the same menu at bario.gr/menu/yourvenue. The public menu is not included on the free plan.
